Bonjour,
Please excuse me for writing in english. I have finally got the time to start building my UGS (and hopefully soon , the UP as well) but I measured my JFETS that I received in the groupbuy #6. I'm a little concerned and I would appreciate if you can tell me what you think?
merci beaucoup

Could you tell us what batch number is written on the jfet please.
If it's 9E on the 2SJ109, send them back to Serjac.

KK74,
At the beginning of this topic (post 1 and 2), we explained (two years ago!), that some 389V of the batch 8E are fakes.
In your list, the first "8E" is a fake, the fourth (idss=3.63ma) has a too low Idss for UP,
The second BL "OB" is a little bit too low (4.65ma)
The other ones are good and can make the job in an UP or an UGS

Thank you so much for your replies. I do realize that I'm very late and I don't expect to get them replaced. I was only wondering if I might use some of them or if I need to buy new ones.
If I use the ones that Philby says are OK, will it affect the performance of my UP and UGS since they have quite low Idss, compared to (trying to...) buy new ones with higher Idss?
Thank you once again for your replies. I do understand that this is a French forum and I usually use google translate to read all the posts, but it's not very useful for writing new posts, except for maybe making a fool of myself.
Best regards
Kristian
