---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D 202
A vintage microphone with a nickname: Sound-Rocket. No other mic looks like this with its funnel-figure sinter cap. With this microphone AKG introduced the 2-way-technology: One element for the low frequencies and the other for the high ones. Be careful holding it in your hand, because the rear sound entry for the bass system is located near the socket of the rocket. It comes with an on/off-switch (CS version) and with a continuously adjustable bass-cut filter. An other Sound Rocket is the D 222.
Polar Pattern Uni (Cardioid)
Frequency Range 20 ... 20000 Hz
Sensitivity 1.8 mV/Pa
Impedance 200 Ohms
Dimensions 51 Head-Ø x 210 mm
Weight 0.320 kg
An old catalog from 1979 reveals the former price: DM 415.-
