Hi, I talked to the only authorized Electrocompaniet repair service in Germany today. The shop owner told me that these rumours about closing down the company are complete rubbish. Electrocompaniet seems to face some fundamental production changes. They will produce now all of the devices in Hungary, which is nothing new in fact. In the last month amps for example have already been built there. The general EC dealer in Germany assured me some days ago, that the built quality of the electronics will even raise by these mesures. The repair service owner told me, that anyone can order any article from EC as usual. He told me as well, that even if the company should go bankrupt one day, products could be repaired in his opinion even 10 years later on. And finally: You cant blaim Electrocompaniet alone! The German repair service is known for promt and fast repairs. As far as I have heard any problem faced is solved in within 1 week here. This is why some european dealers send their devices to Germany to get them repaired here. So let's be optimistic an support this company which makes the most lovely and wonderful sounding devices I know.

EC was bakrupt. BUT, they have started again with a new company (ECS Holding)and still produce the excelent brand Electocompaniet

donc tout ne va pas si mal que ça !!quel dommage que cette societé comme d'autres d'ailleurs en soit arrivée là quand on connait la qualité des produits !!

EC a fait faillite. MAIS ils ont redémarré l'activité avec une nouvelle compagnie ( ECS ) et continue à fabriquer sous l'excellente marque Electrocompaniet.
