Bonne chance.
28th JULY 2007
After a lot af playing to start with these settings will give a good result.
It's still early days so it will be worth looking at this weekly as the settings may change
I will be ISF calibrating the sets but not till I have 500 hours on them. I will not be locking day & night settings as you may want to change them (Gordon does not lock them) just make sure you make note of the calibrated settings.
None of the settings below are gospel and personal preference will come into it. However if you choose to try the advanced settings I suggest you do not change the colour detail and colour management settings, just the stuff in the "picture menu"
There are now 3 sets of settings.
If you are daunted by the number of adjustments just use the first ones to start with.
They are simple and just slightly ammend the out of box settings but MUST be made or things will look overcooked and juddery.
Once the set beds in and you get used to it use the advanced settings.
If you are going to see one in a shop take this with you and ensure that the at least the first settings are used and insist on having the remote unless the sets have been properly set up.
Once you get your set home the pixels will appear lively and the picture may look a bit redy blue, this is normal and will settle within a week.
