Clé usb en exFAT au lieu de Fat32 sur lecteur de salon ?

On m'a parlé du format exFAT qui a pour avantage de ne pas être limité à 4Go par fichier, donc je me demandais si par hasard une clé usb formatée en exFAT pourrait être reconnue par un lecteur de salon censé ne reconnaître que le Fat32.
Je suppose que non, ce serait trop simple et j'en aurais entendu parler mais je préfère demander.
Je n'ai pas la possibilité de faire le test pour l'instant.

pour ma part je suis en exFat sur un disque externe sous macOSX et je n'ai pas de problème a y accéder quand je le connecte sur mon oppo

très intéressant et l'oppo ne spécifie pas qu'elle sait lire ce type de partition ?

Alors il dois y avoir rétro compatibilité avec la FAT16 / FAT32

je ne sais pas, mais exFAT est quand meme un standard microsoft conçu a l'origine pour les stockage "flash" et disques dur externes

Intéressant, en effet, parce que j'ai aussi un Oppo, faudra que je teste à l'occasion.
Tu as déjà testé des fichiers de plus de 4 Go ?

J'ai le BDP-83, plus ancien, curieux de voir si ça marchera.

Ce que je sous entais était plus pas de compatibilité entre FAT16 ou FAT32 et exFAT il faut un support dédié

A propos de clé usb j'ai cherché, sur ce forum, des infos sur les clés usb bootable sous linux et j'ai rien trouvé...

Y'a t'il un sujet spécifique qui en cause et que j'aurais loupé svp..?

Je ne connais rien à linux mais à tout hasard, il ne faudrait pas formater la clé en EXT4 ?
C'est faisable avec Partition Wizard home edition (gratuit) ;
