J'ai lu ici et là sur le net que le les derniers DAC de chez Xindax étaient buggués.
http://www.xindak.com/english/products/showditail.asp?id=230
Cela concerne le DAC-3 plus et le DAC-3 MKII
Info ou intox ?
ET sinon... que vaut cet appareil ?
Merci.

Pour ceux que ça intéressent... je viens de recevoir une réponse de Xindac (désolé c'est en anglais) :
"Be honest, for our previous DAC-3 products, there is a small problem on the
matching with our CD-player, because of a bug in the chip. But on the
DAC-3MKII, we have settled this problem by updating the chip inside,
exactly, that is a different chip at all. That is reason, we always
recommend DAC-3 MKII to our authorized distributor instead of DAC-3. There
is same situation in domestic market. If you found any DAC-3 in the oversea
market at this moment, that may very pissibly not from our authorized
distributor bur from grey market, which is stock for our domestick
distbrutor. Please pay atttention!"
Et il precise également concernant les différences entre le DAC-3 et le MKII :
"In addition, the main difference between DAC-3 and DAC-3MKII is that there
is added tube as buffer amplifying output within DAC-3MKII. In other word,
there are two output model for choose on DAC-3MKII, one is transistor output
and one is tube output. There are also some changes on the design for analog
filter circuit part and I/V conversion part. In addition, DAC-3 adopts
capacitor coupling circuit design, and DAC-3MKII adopts directly coupling
amplifying circuit design. In generally speaking, DAC-3MKII is an updated
version basing on DAC-3, which improve the expression on low frequency."
Ce que l'on peut voir sur la photo suivante :
On distingue bien les deux sorties RCA derrière le tube... par contre la sortie symétrique ne doit pas passer par le tube comme c'est le cas sur le CD 10 de Melody
