Les BR Warner ont des pistes françaises en Angleterre et Allemagne en général ?

Aux USA, où il existe des salles IMAX pur jus à base de pellicule, les scènes IMAX sont projetées avec un écran qui s'étire alors en haut et en bas pour avoir la hauteur de plusieurs étages d'immeuble. En France, toutes les salles IMAX sont en IMAX numérique, avec un projecteur 2K, y compris l'ancienne salle du Disney Village qui avait avant un vrai projecteur "argentique".
Je ne sais pas si on bascule alors au 1.44:1 sur tous ces écrans "IMAX" pour les scènes originellement tournées avec des caméras Imax, je ne suis même jamais allé dans une de ces salles, ce que je sais, c'est que cet Imax numérique a mauvaise réputation ("Liemax"), vu que ce sont après tout des salles classiques équipées avec des appareils fabriqués par IMAX mais avec un cahier des charges assez coulant.

En tout cas, dans les salles "classiques", le film est projeté intégralement en 2.39:1, les scènes Imax étant alors recadrées.

Mais, là où ça devient très agaçant, c'est qu'entre TDK et TDKR, la plupart des salles ont basculé vers le numérique suite à Avatarte et à la vogue de la 3D (plus des pressions terribles des distributeurs, qui y avaient beaucoup à gagner). Sauf rares exceptions, les salles françaises ne dépassent pas le 2K en définition latérale. On estime que la définition numérique nécessaire pour reproduire pleinement la pellicule analogique est aux alentours de 4-5K. Sur de l'IMAX, il faudrait, mettons, du 8K.

Résultat :
- la définition supplémentaire de l'IMAX passe en grande partie à la trappe, y compris sur les écrans Imax numériques, qui sont tous en 2K
- sauf les quelques salles équipées de projecteurs 4K (deux ou trois à Paris qui projettent le film), on a régressé en terme de définition pure par rapport à l'exploitation de TDK (mais on a gagné en stabilité, en ceci, en cela...)

je ne savais pas du tout qu'en france les salles de cinema numérique sont uniquement en 2K

A quoi ca sert de payer une place quand on a la même chose avec un blu ray chez soit ,je ne vais plus au cinema depuis un moment et je ne risque pas d'y retourner en sachant cela,ou alors d'aller dans une des rares salles sur Paris,vu que ce n'est que salles en Vf par chez moi,je n'ai pas trop le choix si un jour je veux voir un film en salle !
