Emu 1212m sortie I2S

hello, l'un d'entre vous a-t-il déjà eu l'idée saugrenue de sortir en I2S d'une carte son, plus particulièrement de l'Emu 1212m ?
Un ptit tour sur le net m'a réconforté : je ne suis pas le seul fou
pour la 1212m, j'ai trouvé le schéma de la nappe :


je veux l'interfacer avec un DAC stello da100s, qui a une entrée i2S comme ça :



bon, donc si on reprend (entrée I2S Stello/sortie nappe Emu 1212m):
pin 1 = LRCK0
pin 2 = ?
pin 3 = Data0
pin 4 = MCK0
pin 5 = NC
shield = GND

j'ai bon? vous avez une idée pour la pin2?

restera quelques problèmes, comme ponctionner les signaux sur la nappe de la carte son sans déconnecter la carte fille (il me semble que sinon la carte mère ne fonctionne pas), et trouver la prise mâle adéquate côté stello...

Tu cherches un peu sur Head-hifi, il y a exactement ton besoin, en details...

i had mapped out the i2s signal from the emu-1212 sound card.
on the analog card where the dac chip reside, it's a cs4398 chip, by looking at the data sheet and using a multimeter , this is how i derive the i2s signal
ribbon cable socket(pin5) to dac (pin 3) SDIN (serial data in)
ribbon cable socket(pin to dac (pin 5) LRCK (word clock)
ribbon cable socket(pin 13) to dac (pin DGRND (DIGITAL GROUND)
ribbon cable socket(pin 10) to dac (pin 4) SLCK (serial bit clock BLCK)
ribbon cable socket(pin 9) to dac ( pin 6) MCK (master clock) (no need for buffalo dac)

the ribbon cable on the emu1212 is similar to the one on the floopy disk, so i just took one from an old pc, cut it at one end and soldered it onto some shield audio cables. according to the manual of the buffalo this is how u connect the i2s signal from sound card to buffalo
cable 5 to D2 on buffalo
cable 8 to d1 on buffalo
cable 10 to dck on buffalo
cable 13 to g on buffalo


i used foobar kernal streaming playing flac,
for emu patchmix software setting , i use
wave 1/2 to out 1/2 i/o card ,44.1khz

l'I2s necessite des liaison tres courte de l'ordre de 10 ou 20 cm. Apres le signal se degrade.
Sauf si des precautions sont prises avec un emetteur special en amont du cable et un recepteur en aval.
Je ne me rapelle plus ce qu'il faut exactement, mais reflechi quand meme à 2 fois.
Sur le lecteur cd nagra, il ont mis ce systeme d'emeteur recepteur sur le cablei2s alors qu'il n'y a que 20 cm de cable.
