La chaîne UHD1 en clair jusqu'au 3 janvier 2016
Avis aux détenteurs de téléviseurs Ultra HD. L'opérateur allemand HD+ propose actuellement sa chaîne UHD1 en clair. Cette mise en clair sera valable jusqu'au 3 janvier prochain.

UHD1 est pour rappel accessible par satellite sur la position Astra (19.2° Est) avec les paramètres suivants : fréquence 10.994 MHz (Horizontal), SR 22,000, et FEC 9/10.

Précisons qu'il vous faudra être en détention d'un téléviseur Ultra HD doté d'un tuner DVB-S2 compatible HEVC pour en profiter.

Les flux vidéo sont encodés en 2160 50p au format HEVC (Main 10).

je remarque que dans le comparatif des tv led et oled pas beaucoup de marque japonaise (sauf sharp)
c'est un oublie volontaire ou pas .

Dolby Vision a aussi l’avantage de disposer des métadonnées scène par scène dynamiques, et non statiques pour tout le film comme le HDR10.

Les experts du calibrage se plaignent que les spécifications du HDR10 sont actuellement incomplètes.

"HDR10 content has meta data content describing the mastering monitor peak brightness and native gamut.
How that get maps down to the target device is undefined and up to each manufacturer to implement. This is where Dolby Vision is widely more thought out. Flat panels where much brighter than projector, how does that get mapped? How is gamut remapping handled? Nobody except an internal JVC employee could tell you how that projector is suppose to work with HDR. HDR10 has no guidance at all for consumer calibration.
Dolby Vision has a consumer playback standard. HDR10 does not.
Dolby Vision provides all of the necessary information for every Dolby Vision display a consumer will view content on. This data is what allows CalMAN to provide targets for calibration. For HDR10, since there is currently no such thing, the best we can really do is to let you adjust white balance and verify that the EOTF tracks 2084. We can't really provide any targets for gamut evaluation or correction since we don't know how their gamut remapping works.

Apparement annoncé pour le deuxième semestre. C'est un peu tard... pour les lecteurs blu ray uhd.

Au moins, ça servira de support pour le futur lecteur UHD Oppo prévu fin 2016.

Aucun TV compatible Dolby Vision n’est disponible à ce jour.
Suffisamment de TV compatibles Dolby Vision pour avoir le choix ne seraient pas disponibles au second semestre.
Par ailleurs le chipset MediaTek MT8581 hautement intégré permettrait de disposer des lecteurs Ultra HD Blu-ray abordables.
