J'ai les 2 volumes en vinyls, les LP ou CDs sont disponibles directement sur le label germanique Compost.

A propos de Bandini :

We all consider Mr Ennio Morricone as a "Sacred Monster" and we really thought his music was holly and untouchable. So why have we accepted to ("remix") work on one of his themes? Well first of all it's mostly because our music refers directly to movies he worked on and we also made up our minds & changed our attitude towards our "idols". We now tend to think that being too respectful to them may prevent any creative process.'

Bandini is originally the name of the main character in John Fante's novels. Since early 2001 it is also the name of a band – the brainchild of both singers as well as songwriters François & Andy from France who created the band. The duo is playing all instruments which consist of bass, guitar, piano and marinba by themselves. They started recording homemade demos which attracted the attention of Black Tambour Boris Picq and Guillaume Salançon . They've just put the finshing touch to their first album to be released early 2004. Their sound is like the original novel character, not only touching but also versatile and flawed . Bandini is not inspired from pop and rock traditions only, but also from hip-hop, blues, cabaret, psychedelic music, lo-fi indie rock, and other seemingly contradictory genres, creating a shambling collage-like sound all their own.
