What you need: HOLO Driver 2.0RC3 (Installerversion is recommended!), Holo Driver 2.4,
FFDShow (Nov 2003), Dscaler 4.1.8
Here we go:
1) Make a full backup! (Drive Image etc.) for prevention of language barriers
1b) unzip the 2.4 Drivers in a folder you need (eg Temp)
1c) if the 2.0 Setup routine is zipped too, unzip it in a separate folder you need (eg Temp2 or so)
2) If you have (Full) 2.0 RC3 installed anyway and it works, go to step 10 or
do it again
3) Start HOLO3D and than "reset all settings" and "reset board"
4) Close the Holo GUI
5) Deinstall the Holo Drivers (Audio Video Controllers) here you find the perfect wayto: Klick here
5b) delete all Files in the Windows Folders that contains (88xyz) Holo Files
6) restart XP
7) at startup CANCEL the "new hardware found" Dialog

start the setup of Holo3D Driver 2.0RC3
(Use the BIG installer version 2.0RC3 available at
www.Spatz-Tech.de or here?)
9) REBOOT! Maybe XP find hardware again, Then select "install driver by yourself(?) " and use the 2.0 drivers that you can find in the 2.0RC3Folder.
10) Now you go to your Hardwaremanager to "AUDIO VIDEO GAMECONTROLLER" and select ONLY the "Holo 3d Crossbar" (NOT The other Conexant!)
rightklick - change Driver - select by your self - search the folder with the 2.4 driver
select - OK - wait (can be a long time ) - Finish
11) Go to the Folder where the 2.4 Drivers & Files are unzipped (eg TEMP), mark all
and copy this in the 2.0 Folder that was created by installing via the 2.0 SETUP
(overwrite all)
12) install FFDShow
13) install DScaler
14) start FFDSHow and configure it (howto see at the bottom of this Guide)
15) Start HOLO3d and fix the Chromadelay (10 or 11 must be fine)
Customfilter to "ON"
Overlay Mode "ON" (better than VMR imho)
Turn "Enhancements" to "OFF" (not the LUT!)
restart Holo3D
16) press the Windows Button on your keyboard and doubleklick the FFDShow
ICON in the taskbar (right bottom)
17) Select "OFFSET" in FFDShow and play with the LUMA/Chroma to make the Chroma Delay near 99% perfect (use a testdisc Picture where you can SEE the ChromaDelay)
mark the little window (dont find the right english description)
(it means dont forget to activate the Filter)
18) if you like DScaler Sharpen more than the FFDshow sharpener you can do that (i have done this and its better than FFDShow Sharpener for me):
In FFDShow go to the folder DSCALER and import the DScaler sharpness Filter
by searching the install-folder. Select the right "SHARPNESS FILTER" (you find him in the folder where you installed DSCALER at step 13!
The pre-ustaged 128 is good - but at digital feed of your components you can reduce it a little bit (i use 98)
19) If you use DVI-D dont forget to do the following:
in HOLO3D GUI go to LUT and check out AUX-Brightness and AUX-Contrast.
If there parameters are higher than 100 (135?) turn it back to 100!
The higher parameters are only for analog feeding of components.
THATS IT
