hi guys, I'm sorry but I don't speak french even if I can read it.
I've just bought the Spyder3 sensor but I can't use it with your worthy HCFR calibration software. is there any trick to use it or a new plug in is required? thank you for a reply

well Mlill only has a s2 as of now, so it's gonna take forever before you see s3 support in the HCFR software...

well, there won't be for a long while AFAIK.
and Datacolor is very unwilling to support third party apps, so coders needs to reverse engineer the firmware
in the meantime, I got myself a Eye One Display 2 and I have to say that this sensor is friggin' awesome

really sad...do you use it with the HCFR software? did you find any improvements in relation to the SpyderII?

well the spyder2 is pretty crappy if you ask me.
this is what I got on the s2, using a ICC program :
http://www.homecinema-fr.com/forum/down ... p?id=45723
this is what the i1 thinks of it :
http://www.homecinema-fr.com/forum/down ... p?id=46566
and this is what the i1 can do on its own:
http://www.homecinema-fr.com/forum/down ... p?id=46565
and here you can see direct compares, where you can see that the i1d is quite similar to the i1pro(that costs around $1000) :
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthre ... ost9495885
and also the s2, which is REALLY off :
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthre ... ost9503169
never been so happy, this i1d sensor is a winner

actually the i1d is great for most applications, but it kinda sucks for gray scales on SXRD :

nothing beat a i1pro in that particuliar case..

uh, let's hope the lack of accuracy is only for rear SXRD......

leeperry, just a question.
I've just received and installed the I1, but when I lounch a calibration with the HCFR SW, occurs an error EyeOne.dll not found.
which dll must be installed?
thank you
