I've succesfully taught the region hack commands to my Harmony One and have included them on a profile for others to use.

So, if you have a harmony, please reply below and I'll PM you the log-in details.

Please do not request details via PMs because my inbox keeps filling up

Under no circumstances should you post this log-in information or pass it on. I do not want it to get into the wrong hands and have the profile messed around with. Thanks

It is important that only one user is logged in at-a-time, so please post here just before you log in and post again when you've finished to give the all-clear to the next user.

When you log in to the Harmony software you will have to go to "Replace Remote" to change it to your own model.

(Don't worry about losing your own settings because once you've finished you can just log back into your profile and update your remote with your personal set-up again. )

You can then apply this profile to your remote and you'll have one activity entitled: "Region Free Hack"

Then follow the instructions below:

1. Use the remote that came with the player to bring the player out of standby, make sure there isn't a disc in it and wait for the Home menu to appear.
2. Press the Activity button "Region Free Hack", keeping the remote pointing at the player for approx. 5 seconds until the 24p light starts flashing
3. Put the player back into standby with the Sony remote
4. Next time you turn on the player it will be region free for DVD playback

En toute honnêteté, je n'ai pas tout compris...

En toute honnêteté, je n'ai pas tout compris...

Après mûre réflexion j'ai compris ce qu'il fallait faire, en fait il faut contacter l'auteur du post pour qu'il envoi par mail le login et le mot de passe de parramétrage de la télécommande Harmony....
Une fois branché sur ce compte, la télécommande télécharge le fameux bouton de dézonnage.. Il suffit d'allumer le lecteur sans disque dedans, puis d'appuyer sur la touche magique et d'attendre que la led bleue C24 clignote. D'éteindre le lecteur et de le rallumer...
Mon lecteur lit parfaitement les Zone 1, Les zone 2 les Blu-ray en région B (pour le reste je ne sais pas)... Seule Hic au passage la perte de la led bleu sur les film en 1080P, j'ai donc réinitialisé les réglages et tout remarche à merveille, la led s'allume bien...

et voilà
Bref que du plaisir , hier test avec arthur et les minimoys en dts hd sur ma tv , puis casino royal sur mon projo .
que dire , l'image est superbe , mon seul regret , c'est que ma tv ,comme mon projo ne sont pas full hd , qu'hd ready bref j'ai configurer le lecteur en 720p mais franchement on voit la dif / dvd.
Par contre ce qui frappe le plus , c'est coté son ( dts hs pour arthur et dolby hd pour casino ) , c'est dingue la puissance sonore qui se dégage , je passe par les sorties analogiques du lecteur vers mon ampli en direct in ( comme celà pas besoin de changer d'ampli , c'est le lecteur qui décode )
Bref c'est dingue l'image musicale qui en ressort , les nouveaux formats sonores hd sont vraiment trés bon !

bilan il va falloir faire des économie pour acheter un projo full hd !

ne pas chercher à comprendre ce lecteur est vraiment trés bon , je soir je test le bdlive ...

j'avais deja posé plus ou moin la question sur ce point en comparaison avec la ps3 , mais pas de reponses

je n ai pas de XE1 donc je ne peut comparer mais contours avec le 550 sont tres propres.
cependant sur une projection sur 2 metres de base, peut etre voit on des defauts qui ne se voient pas sur un ecran 42, 46, ou 50 pouces.

bonjour j un sony bravia 117 cm full hd et j commander un lecteur bdp s550 et un systeme son onkyo thx 7.1 qui decode les son hd
ma question est-pour le branchement le mieux c'est de passe par le hdmi de l'ampli cad bluray sur ampli et depart hdmi sur tv
ou de passer par le branchement analogique 7.1
