Projeter en 2.35 avec un prisme fait maison !!!

yeah i know this link, alain dupois told me about it, but i wanted to ask here about ist, because i don't like to pay the taxes
Without all the taxes, the prism set would cost around 90€, including shipping. With them, the price rises to 114€. Of course, i won't have any other options, if nobody wants to sell...

Hello Wildar,
in France, taxes aren't due systematically, because It takes a lot of time to inspect all the mails, your package has a great chance to go trought ... like mine
Somebody (somewhere ...) noticed that 10 percents of the package come with taxes ... so, if you mesure your luckyness on this, I think that it's relatively safe

Just in case : have you find the pdf that help to dispose the prisms ? I search for this for a long time now, but cannot find any working link ...

hmmmm, yeah i could give it a chance and hope, that they won't check it here in germany perhaps i have luck and the germans handle the taxes case in the same way, as the french do

How much time does the shipping take? 2 weeks?

Do you also use the TW700 projector or another modell?

My projection distance would be 3.5m...i hope i won't have too much problems with the pincuhsion effect...has anybody tried to build a curved scope screen? This would be surely the best solution, but it's not so easy to realize this

C'est en négociation avec mon waf.
Moi je voudrais mais elle... bof !
Pour le moment je suis en train d'installer les prismes (enfin !) et je me bats avec un problème de convergence horizontale sur toute la partie gauche, les lignes blanches verticales sont éclatées en rouge, vert, bleu.
Ce qui est bizarre est que la partie droite est nickel.

Quelqu'un a-t-il la solution ?

J'ai essayé en décalant le boitier à droite, à gauche, ça ne change rien...

Sinon, avez-vous remarqué la projection arrière de l'image ? Il y a une sacrée réflexion (un vrai miroir) sur les parois latérales des prismes et l'image est complètement renvoyée vers le projecteur. Va falloir que je me bricole un cache pour ne pas être pollué par cette lumière.

Hi folks,

some of you advised me to use a samsung player for vertical stretch by its EZview feature. So i bought a Samsung DVD-HD 870 and it's amazing to see how it is doing this job when i choose "screen fit"

But now i noticed a special problem while watching movies in 1.85:1 or using screen fit of the EZview function. I made two screenshots with the cam og my mobile to show you what i mean.

If you look on the lower black bar of the screen, you see there a very thin "pixel-line" which shows a small detail of the movie above it! What the f...?!

The player is connected by HDMI, p-scan is activated and the projector is a Epson EMP-TW 700. Do you know how to eject this pixel line in the black bar? I simply don't know how to do this. I've made a firmware upgrade, but it didn't help.
If i using the dvd-player with my toshiba lcd, this mysterious pixel-lines don't appear...

Please help me

Aprés avoir parcouru (et lu) les 216 pages du topic, je voulais féliciter les principaux acteurs de cette création (en particulier skhattane2000). Je voudrais également savoir si une nouvelle commande groupée de prismes était prévu ? Ou sinon ou m'en procurer dans pour tarif approchant ?

Par contre j'ai essayé tout les liens (bizarrement chez Free) pour récupérer le fichier pdf et tous sont HS.
Le fournisseur des prismes site le forum AVS comme origine du projet de ces prismes et non pas HCFR: je pense que skhattane2000 qui est à l'origine des premières commandes, devrait les contacter pour corriger cette erreur et rendre à César ce qui est à César

Je pense que tu as un mauvais positionnement relatif des prismes.

Et, oui, il faut bien capitonner ton boîtier avec de la feutrine noire pour éviter les lumières parasites.
