Some basic test results:
Network speed: 38 MB/s as compared to 11MB/s on Dune Base 3.0 and 26 MB/s on Base 3D.
Menu speed is about 2x as fast as Base 3D, Menu is very similar to Base 3D in Setup and looks.
Discrete IR On/Off Power codes are working.
Auto Frame rate is working.
Loads into Zappiti and works perfectly
The unit basically has two playback engines: A full BD engine and a BD Lite engine.

Additional Audio tests
________________________________________
I hooked Solo directly to a Samsung 40" 1080P LCD with an HDMI Cable that is about 4 years old.
I set the audio settings to allow HDMI Audio to downscale to 2 channel decode. The unit doesn't decode to Multi Channel.

These are the results with ISOs both full and ripped with regard to successful 2 channel decoding:
______Full BD Engine _______ Lite Engine
DTS HD ___Yes _____________ Yes
DTS:X HD _Yes _____________ Yes
True HD ___Yes _____________ No (hard reset required)
Atmos ____Yes _____________ No (hard reset required)
LPCM _____Yes _____________ Yes
These are the results with MKVs with regard to successful 2 channel decoding: Auto defaults to Lite Engine.
Lite Engine
DTS HD___ Yes
DTS:X HD __Yes
True HD ___No (hard reset required)
Atmos ___No (hard reset required)
Other points to note:
1) I re tested Full Menu ISOs with BD Engine and DTS:X bit streaming works perfectly now.- Edited previous post to reflect this.
2) BD Resume does work with full ISOs and BD Engine. It does not work on ripped ISOs with either engine.
2A) Resume works on MKVs using Lite Engine.
3) I have confirmation from
Mike@Duneplayer.com that My Movies is working perfectly on his setup at this time and we fixed Zappiti on mine.
4) Got VXP figured out. During playback simply hit the "C" key to toggle on/ off /demo mode. This only works in BD Lite as far as I can tell.
