Lumagen is introducing three new products: Vision DVI ($999), Vision HDP
($1499), and VisionPro HDP ($2299). All have two HD analog and two HD DVI-D inputs. The Vision DVI can transcode, process, and scale HD sources. The Vision HDP and VisionPro HDP can transcode, deinterlace and scale HD up to 1080p output.

Vision DVI ($999):
- Eight inputs: 2 Composite, 2 SVideo, 2 SD/ED/HD Component, and 2 DVI-D +HDCP
- The Component inputs can also be configured for RGBHV, RGBS, or RGsB
- Option for two SDI inputs ($400)
- Output is DVI-D + HDCP (i.e. digital only) at up to 800p

- 2:2, 3:2, 3:3 pull-down for SD film sources

- Zoom in any source up to 33% in either 15% or 5% steps

J'ai mis en gras ce qui me semblait particulièrement interessant.
A part le gros modèle qui par sa connectique semble plutot reservé aux pros, le rapport fonctionnalité/prix est hallucinant, recapitule en francais:
Vision DVI 999$:
- entrees 2 composites,2 S, 2 YUV SD/HD (configurable en RGsB,RGBs, RGBHV, 2 DVI/HDCP. Entree SDI en option.
- Sortie DVI HDCP (permet de fonctionner avec les projos ou plasmas qui recalcitrent
)
- Peut sortir du 48Hz, 72Hz (NTSC) et 75Hz (PAL) à parti de DVD.
- upconversion jusqu'à 800p (bizarre comme résolution) et 1080i
- Resolutions et fréquences configurables
- Calibration de la courbe de gris et du gamma
- suppression chroma bug
Le modèle au dessus apporte une sortie DVI-I pour ceux qui voudraient du VGA en sortie, du desentrelacement HD, upconversion 1080p.... A 1500$
Bref je ne vois pas ce que l'on peut demander de plus. j'avais tendance à penser qu'avec l'avènement des projos numériques les scalers allaient disparaitre, apparement il n'en n'est rien, le marché n'a jamais été aussi dynamique!!!
