Oui la norme par l'optique en SPDIF est limité à 24/96 mais pour le 5.1 ET 7.1 mais pas en stéréo.

The PCI version of MAYA44 supports up to 24-bit/192kHz playback. This is
available via both optical and coaxial S/PDIF. However, the official S/PDIF
Toslink specifications are limiting the signal to 96kHz, which means that
when sending out a 96kHz signal of course 24bit/96kHz is transfered ...
however, when sending out 192kHz it depends on the device on the other end
if you will be able to transfer the signal or not. Some devices with Toslink
input support 192kHz, many don't.
