avis ampli t.amp s150 mk2

These resistors are too hot.
These resistors look like the current limiting resistors in the power supply circuit
that make positive and negative 12V from the positive and negative 50V of the output stage.
It is a waste to convert the power of the power stage into heat and throw it away, so
I removed these resistors and tried to supply power independently with a regulated power supply
composed of LM317 / LM337. Then, the sound quality became very good.
The sound quality has entered a new stage due to the synergistic effect of adjusting the bias current and changing the internal speaker wiring,
which we learned from the Forum here.
thank you everyone!!

If a resistor is added to prevent hum noise, it is better to increase the capacity of the electrolytic capacitor.
However, it is difficult to work with because removing it will break the through hole.
I soldered both the front and back of the board.
The electrolytic capacitor in this place has a great influence on the sound quality.
The withstand voltage of this electrolytic capacitor must be 63V or higher.
The distance between the terminals of the electrolytic capacitor is 5 mm.
The thickness of the lead wire of the electrolytic capacitor is 0.6 mm.
The blue electrolytic capacitor in the picture has a withstand voltage of 50V, which is a bad choice.

Hello ici

If the yellow led comes on and there is no sound, you may have misconnected the speakers.
In the bridge connection, the two black terminals of the speaker terminal do not connect anywhere.
Do not use bridge mode with speakers with an impedance of 4Ω or less.
This is because the speaker impedance is equal to half in bridge mode.
The S-75mk2 does not support driving 2Ω speakers.
Never connect the outputs of two amplifiers. The amplifier will fail.
(I've heard reports that both 'AV amplifier' and 'Pure audio amplifier' were connected to the same front speakers.)
If the red led turns on and there is no sound, the amplifier is in sleep mode.
If you do not want to use sleep mode, set the ERP switch to the OFF position.
The ERP switch is located on the back panel of the amplifier. This did not exist in the early models.

Merci.
