Il eut été mieux afin de ne pas introduire de Biais, que les évaluateurs ne puissent savoir la marque et le modèles des téléviseurs qu'ils évaluent, pour ne pas s'auto influencé, car tout humain à des marques préférer ou des technologies préférer.

Selon John Reformato, c'était plutôt un comparatif entre QD OLED (Sony A95K, Samsung S95B) et WOLED (LG G2) : plus de volume de couleurs et d'uniformité de la dalle pour QD OLED.
"When we put that Mad Max shot up at the end for the color volume test and looked closely at the center of the explosion the G2 just showed white where the QD OLEDs and the leds showed color. It was clear the WOLED didn’t have the color volume of the QDOLED. The uniformity on the G2 also was not very good and we checked several samples in 65 inch. I feel it was a contest between QD OLED and WOLED."

Selon John Reformato, le gagnant de l'année dernière (Sony A90J) ne serait pas meilleur que le LG G2 (l’évaluation comparative TV Shootout est plutôt une évaluation comparative entre les TV et le moniteur professionnel de référence Sony BVM HX310).
"There was really no point in putting the A90J in the event because it would not have been better than the G2 in my opinion. The G2 showed very well but the Sony and Samsung QD OLED panels outclassed the WOLED."
