Pourquoi ne pas se tourner vers une EyeOne Display LT? cela t'éviteras de devoir avoir besoin d'un étalon valide.

I'd like to try to create a Linux Port of the Colorimètre HCFR.

Is this something you are interested in? Has anyone already tried / started on something like that?
I'd probably use Qt to do it, in the hopes of being able to build a platform-independent version.

Do you have a code repository with the sources that I could use? Or should I look for hosting on a site like gitorious?

If anyone could point me to the sources, that would be great.

This is my second attempt at getting through to the software authors... I posted here earlier (in french), but got no replies.
I won't keep badgering the forum about this, but I'd really like to give this a shot...

There is no problem in accessing the source, give me a few hours, i'll check and give you links.
The only "problem" is most of the dev team have move to alternate project (actually two are building their own house) and so answers related to code and improvements takes ages

So far we have a fully (obviously) Windows Version written in Visual C++ 6.0 using MFCs, and also a MacOSX Version, not fully functionnal but main features are there.
Core code (Color Mgmt, Graphics, etc...) can probably be shared (at least pretty similar)

I'll update you soon.

Thanks for this update about the development team... One question as you're around, how likely is it to have one day a version that shows the value of Y and not only x,y graphically while working on the gamut?
This is the ONLY real downside of HCFR compared to Calman, and looks to me like the only real flaw in an otherwise wonderful software. Thanks!

OTOH it is something planned and we will probably build a 2.x version later this year to address a few things like this one...
I cannot give estimate, but for sure their will be evolution on the app, Team members just need a bit of available time.

Toutefois j'ai quand même un petit souci: lorsque je lance la "mire aninée" de niveau de noir et celle de niveau de blanc, pour celle de niveau de noir, je ne vois aucune barre horizontale (ou verticale) contrairement au tuto, même en mettant la luminosité au max, et pour celle de blanc, je ne vois défiler qu'une barre verticale, alors que je devrais en voire 2, non ?

J'ai le même soucis, sur la mire glissante de noire j'ai beau mettre à fond ou au mini la luminosité, je vois toujours les deux bandes blanches

Pour la mire glissante blanche, je dois mettre le contraste à +13 pout faire disparaitre la bande noire de gauche.

Et ce depuis mon passage à Windows Seven.

J'ai résolu mon problème, avec le HC6000, à l'instar de mon ancien Pana PTAE900, le réglage de la luminosité et du contraste propre au projo (via la telco) ne suffit pas à faire bouger la luminosité et le contraste correctement.
Il faut s'aider du pilote de la carte graphique, en l'occurence les pilotes Nvidia chez moi.
Je sais, c'est bizzard mais c'est comme ca

j'utilise le logiciel HCFR depuis quelques jours et j'observe des différences de mesure alors que j'utilise le DVD manuel pour calibrer ma TV LCD.
Lorsque je sélectionne les mires pour vidéoprojecteur (plein écran), je n'ai pas le même résultat qu'en utilisant les mires pour LCD (petit rectangle au centre de l'écran) alors que ma sonde est bien positionnée.
Est-ce normal ?

bonjour, le logiciel hcfr ne reconnait pas la sonde spyder 3 ( spyder 3 dll non trouvee cette dll est presente dans le repertoire d installation du logiciel livre avec la sonde . veuillez la copier dans le repertoire d installation du colorimetre hcfr) voila quelqu un pourrai me donner un coup de main ? ca fait 3 heures que je tourne en rond, merci.

On a prévu un full support dans la 2.2 qui va sortir très bientot ( note: aller fouetter l'équipe pour les faire avancer ).
Il faut aller récupérer l'ancienne version de la dll comme expliqué ici :

Excellente nouvelle que la sortie imminente de la 2.2 ... Est-ce que par miracle on peut maintenant visualiser les changements de Y en meme temps que x,y dans la cible? C'est pour moi la principale limitation de HCFR (et la seule raison poussant à utiliser un calculateur/tableur externe lors d'une calibration). Ce serait merveilleux si c'était implémenté ...
